WEEKLY BLOG A YEAR IN REVIEW 2008 was filled with historic highs and lows. We all witnessed history as we elected America's first African-American President. A man who exemplifies servitude, family and fatherhood. Our wish is that the days ahead we pull together as a nation and do our individual parts to really bring about CHANGE. Unfortunately, the economy has given us an all time low but again, we will overcome and bounce back. As we look at the year in review, sports has impacted our lives but the real world has taken center stage. We take on the roles of fathers and mentors with pride. Our hope for 2009 is that more fathers become involved in the lives of their children and become mentors to those whose fathers are absent. On Sundays, our own sons bring happiness and joy to the masses, but we need your help everyday to bring the family support group to the forefront. Encourage men to step up to be responsible and acknowledge those men who have and continue to do the right thing. Yes, this year was all about CHANGE, but together 2009 will be a CONTINUATION OF CHANGE. |
