WEEKLY BLOG In the Swing of Things The NFL season has begun and we are excited yet again about the new challenges and opportunities afforded our sons at this time. While injury has befallen some of our sons, we continue to pray for health, strength and perservance for all of the professional athletes during the year. During these times it is important that we not only encourage the athlete, but their families as well and be a source of support if and when needed. One of our own fathers is facing one of the ultimate challenges in the untimely death of one of his sons. Let us take this time to reflect on the time we have on this earth with our loved ones, sons and daughters. Let us guide them and equip them with the necessary tools in this journey called Life. We face adversity daily, but with help and extended network of friends and family we are able to face each new day with confidence. So today, if there is a father you know who is or has faced a loss of a child, take time to show him some love and encouragement. Samuel McNabb |
