Cherish our Time

It's difficult when we hear of someone's life being cut short at such a young age. We think there is still so much time left, so many things that can be done, so much more of life to live. But we soon are reminded that our time on earth is but a fleeting moment. We must cherish our time we have with our friends, family, and colleagues. Situations that seem so dire become insignificant in comparison to a shortend life. So we pause. We pause to reflect on what is truly important. On Sundays we escape from the mundane and chaos of our normal lives to watch men play a child's game with enthusiasm, heart, passion and excitement. But maybe, just maybe if we take this same philosphy of play off of the field into our everyday lives, then we will be thankful for the good times and learn from the bad. Today, cherish the time you have for as we have seen all too often, we don't know when that time will be snatched away.
